With the end is near, many people have been trying to figure out what happens to the seven kingdoms at the end of season eight.

Here's what happened so far :

At the end of season seven, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) conquered the Iron Throne and planned to keep it that was by betraying Daenerys and Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

As the Night King  and the White Walkers.are advancing towards the south it is evident that Cersei isn’t going to be able to hold onto her crown for long

There are many strong contenders and a number of theories about who will become the ruler of Westeros.

Bran stark

Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) has been named as the showrunners favourite to sit on the Iron Throne at the end of the drama.

Other characters in the running are Jon and Daenerys who both  have equal odds of getting a hold to the iron throne

However, there’s one character who is also thought to become the rule of Westeros: Lyanna Targaryen.

According to  multiple fan theories, Jon and the previously infertile Daenerys will have a child together called Lyanna Targaryen will be the one of sit on the Iron Throne.

Showrunners to shoot Multiple endings:

The shooting and the post production works for season 8 has been taking place in a rapid pace, however the showrunners are considering shooting multiple endings, as the leaks of two episodes in season 7 caused a massive dip in their viewership charts last year, they're too cautious about the spoilers.
Game of Thrones isn’t the only property to shoot multiple endings. The most famous production  houses have done it earlier. The use of alternate endings was to keep the production staff from leaking the ending.

also, To keep fans from getting a peek at filming, the production has apparently erected ‘massive metal walls’ around the area
